We shall not be liable to any person for loss or damage which may arise as a result of any failure by you to protect your password or account. It is recommended that you do not share your Account details, particularly your password. If you use a shared computer, it is recommended that you do not save your Account details in your internet browser.
If you have reason to believe that your Account details have been obtained by another without consent, you should contact Hunkydory Home immediately to suspend your Account and cancel any unauthorised purchases that may be pending.
We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards. We use Cardsave (part of World Pay) which processes the card details on our behalf via its secure site. We also accept Paypal payments and cheque/postal order. All transactions will be made in £ GBP sterling, and as the Buyer, you will be liable for any exchange rate charges made by your card provider
Hunkydory Home DOES NOT store the credit card details for any of our customers – we use a third party payment gateway to help ensure the highest level of security for our customers. We use Paypal or the Cardsave payment gateway to take credit or debit card payments. Payments are also accepted by cheque or postal order which you can post to us (cheques must clear into our bank account before we can send your order out to you, this usually takes 5 working days from the date we receive your cheque).
If Goods are being ordered from outside the United Kingdom, import duties and taxes may be incurred once your Goods reach their destination. Hunkydory Home is not responsible for these charges and we undertake to make no calculations or estimates in this regard. If you are buying internationally, you are advised to contact your local customs authorities for further details on costs and procedures. As the purchaser of the Goods, you will also be the importer of record and as such should ensure that your purchase is in full compliance with the laws of the country into which the Goods are being imported. Please be aware that Goods may be inspected on arrival at port for customs purposes and Hunkydory Home cannot guarantee that the packaging of your Goods will be free from signs of tampering.

Product Pricing & Availability
All prices shown are displayed in £ British pounds sterling. Hunkydory Home takes great care to ensure prices are accurate. Prices may change over time and without notice. Prices include VAT at 20%.
We do not show stock availability on the website. Occasionally due to an administrative error or unsuitable quality when the product is picked for your order, we may not be able to supply the item. Therefore all items are subject to availability. As we process your order, we will inform you by email or phone if any products you order turn out to be unavailable or if delivery time will be longer than stated.
Please note that dispatch estimates are not guaranteed dispatch times and should not be relied upon as such.
We take reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on this website are correct when the information is entered onto the system. We aim to keep the website as up to date as possible, but the information, including product descriptions may not always reflect the position at the exact moment you place an order. Where appropriate, you may be required to select the required size / colour / number / other features of the Goods that you are purchasing.
We make every effort to reproduce colours on the site as accurately as possible. However, different computers reproduce colours in slightly different ways, and so exact colour matches are not yet possible over the Internet. This means that when you order products from the Shop, colours may differ from what you see on the screen. If you are not satisfied with the colour of the item you have ordered, we operate areturns policy.
Handmade Cushions & Lampshades
Lampshade Options: We cannot confirm the availability of the options selected within the product description (i.e different lampshade types/sizes) until the order has been placed - if we cannot fullfill the options/order we will notify you by email or phone and the order can be cancelled with full payment refunded.
Positioning Of Pattern: As each product is individually handmade to order, the exact positioning of the fabric pattern may differ to the photograph on our website. The seams on the lampshade join may not join up as we use a variety of different fabric prints to produce our lampshades.
We use Royal Mail or courier services to delivery our orders. We can estimate delivery times but we cannot guarantee them. Please ensure you have provided the full and correct delivery address for your order to avoid any unecessary delays.
In the event of your order not arriving, please check with your local Royal Mail delivery office in the first instance to check it is not being held for you. We need to allow 15 working days from the date of dispatch before we are able to launch an investigation into missing parcels and arrange a refund or replacement.
Please be aware that the Distance Selling Regulations state that we have 30 days to deliver items.
Please read the instructions, manuals and other user documentation that comes with your products carefully. Hunkydory Home manufacture the lampshades and cushions (excluding designer cushions) we sell but is not involved in the manufacture of any other products and will not advise on their use or operation or the manufacturer's guidelines. Please follow guidance for electrical products carefully.
Lampshades: We recommend using energy saving lightbulbs with our lampshades. Ceiling Pendant Shades should be hung vertically. Please exercise common sense when using our lampshades they are not suitable for use with a naked flame. Our lampshades are made by applying fabric to a PVC backing. The PVC backing is designed for lampshades and has passed the Glow-Wire Flammability Test - BS EN 60695-2-1: 1996 (Fire Hazard Testing).
Cushion Pads: The filling for our cushion pads is 100% Polyester complies with BS 5852 Part 2. Ignition Source 2. The filling for the feather cushion pads is duck feather. We recommend cold Handwash for our cushion covers. For the avoidance of doubt, Hunkydory Home shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, damage or claims caused as a result of misuse of products.
Termination & Cancellation of Accounts and Orders
Either Hunkydory Home or you may terminate your Account. If we terminate your Account, you will be notified by email and an explanation for the termination will be provided. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we reserve the right to terminate without giving reasons.
If we terminate your Account, any current or pending purchases on your Account will be cancelled and will not be dispatched.
We reserve the right to cancel purchases without stating reasons, for any reason prior to processing payment and dispatch. If purchases are cancelled for any reason prior to dispatch you will be refunded any monies paid in relation to those purchases.
If you terminate your account or order any non-dispatched purchases will be cancelled and you will be refunded any monies paid in relation to those purchases.
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us at email@example.com including the following: Customer name, Order number, Date of order. If your order has already been dispatched to you, you may return the item(s) within 7 days of delivery (please follow the procedure set out in the returns and refunds policy).

WEEE Regulations & Compliance
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge. The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK. Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health. Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill. Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.
Hunkydory Home is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us. For example, if a customer bought a new clock from us we would accept their old clock and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item - if you intend to return your old item to us for this purpose, please contact us by email together with your order number so we can make arrangements. Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown below: Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
