Week 15: My favourite finds October 01, 2015 12:11
I always like a good A-Z poster and this 'A-Z of lesser known animals' by Hannah Broadway is especially pleasing. Featuring more unusual animals such as O is of Orca and M is for Mandrill, I think this would look very nice in our home (hint hint Mr hunky).
Oh hello, super cute sausage dog draught excluder, would you like to come and live in my home? Sadly, I think my puppy might eat you... Love this from Cath Kidston.
I like this playful, modern Cuckoo Clock each hour a different bird pops out singing a different birdsong (the light sensor mens it's not waking you up through the night). It's pricey at £119.00, but Christmas isn't too far away....
It's that time of year again when the evenings are a bit chilly.... we desperately need some blankets at home and I'm very taken with these 100% wool geometric designs from Finnish textile company Lapuan Kankurit available from Cloudberry Living.
I used to stock Hannah Turner's fabulous birdy ceramics (her owl teapot being one of my favourites), now she has introduced these super cute Owl Espresso Cups & Saucers , a great gift for any coffee lover and only £14.99 for the set.
Woof! Woof! September 14, 2015 20:15
Look what's come into store this week, I only put these online yesterday and already there's only a handful left (I've begged the supplier for more so fingers crossed, but if you're set on them then I suggest you buy whilst I have them in my hands!).
Week 9: My favourite finds May 20, 2015 13:32
I came across this lovely Umbrella Cats print by Bubble Gum Years on The Lost Lanes a lovely site selling works by all sorts of creative people. It's only £10.49 too so I might have to treat myself.
Perhaps I'm being optimistic, but it's May now and my thoughts are turning to summer and the idea of lazing in the garden reading a book. I've wanted a traditional style deckchair for ages and then I saw these in John Lewis the other day. You buy the sycamore frame and then choose a sling to go with it, I particularly like this Nordic Harbour design.
This set of Alice In Wonderland pencils by Pobble and Ping over on etsy is so cute. I love them, the bright colours and fun quotes just cheer me up, and at only £4.99 it's another opportunity to self gift this week!
Ooh, look what's coming soon to Magpie, a new range of retro mix and match homewares called The Modern Home - A-Z of the Atomic Era featuring some of the 20th Century's most iconinc home designs.
Finally, I've admired Olivia Brown's ceramic dog sculptures since I first saw them in the wonderful Fenwick Gallery in Warkworth a few months ago. Sadly they're a bit too pricey for me to treat myself, but maybe one day I'll be able to commission a sculpture of my poodle pup (if anyone sees Mr Hunky drop him a hint!).
