My Favourite finds - Autumn 2017 November 11, 2017 19:58
Autumn is well and truly upon us. We can hibernate until Spring, wishing away the coming months to welcome the sun again, or embrace the comfy cosiness that Autumn brings.
One sure way to achieve this, is to introduce a bit a faux fur into your home. Faux fur is huge this season, and there are some absolute smashers around. Here are a couple of my favourites :
Faux fur bench from Maisons du Monde £108
This Ikea rug is a steal at £10! Buy two and drape one over a chair.
The fabulous brand Selfish Mother, have teamed up with Save the Children, with a different celebrity designing each sweatshirt. This is definitely going on my Christmas list, and with 50% of the retail price going straight to Save the Children, not only do they look the part, but they are raising a huge amount for this amazing charity. It's sure to keep the autumn chill away, and looks super cool too.
They are £50 and available here
I've been lusting after these fabulous Charley Harper Flock Of Birds stickers for a while now , and have just ordered them hoping they'll work in the bathroom? Not sure how they'll hold up with the steam, but they can always fly off to our bedroom.
I love Charley Harper designs, his unique minimalist style is unmistakable. We have his amazing flamingo and Heron already available in lampshades, but have two new stunning designs to add over the coming weeks...
Another fun purchase this week, is these fabulous light switch stickers. I've bought them for little miss, and as she's always wanting to re-do her bedroom (definitely her mothers daughter) these are perfect!
There's nothing quite like a spanking new, crisp set of bedding to snuggle under, and as my thoughts turn to cosying up our bedroom, this set from Mini Moderns is top of my list. I'm a huge fan of all things Mini Moderns, but this Darjeeling print has to be my most favourite!
My final favourite, is a brand new addition to hunkydory home for autumn. I'm keeping this one myself, I absolutely love it! This little beauty has a photoshoot this week, so will be available next week on the website. We've also some fabulous new lamp bases coming soon too, I'm sooo excited for these, they're the same as our handmade solid oak bases, but with a new look!
I'm off now for snuggles with my girl, cosying up in front of the fire with a hot chocolate. I love autumn...

Eek! Much excitement, one of my favourite designers Jane Foster has just launched a range of kitchen textiles featuring her panda, fox and cat designs. The panda is most definitely my favourite and available as an apron, oven glove, tea towel and rather fabulous tea cosy!
Isn't this New York wall sticker great , it's a bit pricey at 96 euros but would be a fun statement in a room!
I found this super cute bamboo wood hedgehog wall clock by Owl & Otter over on Folksy, their otter clock is rather lovely too (I do love a good Folksy browse!).
These rock mugs by Lydia Leith are great for celebrating a great British summer! Choose from Brighton, Margate and Blackpool, they're hand decorated in Stoke on Trent and the cheerful colours will look lovely on your kitchen shelves.
Finally I came across this lovely quilt from Hanna Andersson, I usually buy clothes for little miss from here but I saw they offer a small homewares range now too. I love the hand stitched Scandinavia houses on this quilt and think it would look great on a sofa or chair as much as a bed.

Week 7: My Favourite Blog & Buy Sale Finds April 23, 2015 13:04
I'm chuffed to have some of my products featured on the Spring Blog & Buy Sale Wishlist and so I thought that this week I'd feature the products from the wish list that I have on mine.
I like everything about this upcycled school chair by Zoo Fest -the style, the colour and the fun illustration. It would fit perfectly in little miss' newly decorated bedroom.
This Father's Day card by Joanne Hawker struck a chord and made me smile (actually thinking about it I could send this to a few people....).
This Happy Apples Tea Towel by Anna Lindsten is screen printed in Sweden, I love the colours and Scandi feel of it.
Hello Ronnie & Frank the brightest, boldest cats in town - featuring here on a tote bag, by Yoke designs.
This set of 4 coasters by Mel Smith Designs feature the London skyline and can be used individually or lined up to create London Southbank.

I need a footstool in the living room to rest my weary legs on! I love these beauties from Orwell & Goode but at £300 I better start saving my pennies!
Samphire Bay is an online store based in Alnwick, Northumberland just up the road from me. They design lovely prints and have a range of fab screenprinted hessian cushions featuring local sayings, I'm pretty sure 'plodge' is universal though isn't it?
These bone china mugs from Alfred & Wilde featuring gold geometric designs are so stylish and would be a lovely addition to my kitchen.
One of my favourite online furniture stores MADE.COM have launched a new kids range, it's full of lovely stuff and I'm sure little miss' room will soon be filling up with pieces. I love the mini version of these kitsch chairs as well as this hexagon bedding. There's also a whole range of monochrome pieces which would be great for accessorising a teenager's bedroom.
Week 1: My favourite finds February 23, 2015 19:19
Having spent a number of years selling a whole range of home goodies in my store, I still enjoying hunting out new products and keeping them bookmarked for future treats or presents. I thought the blog would be a good opportunity to share my favourite homeware finds from around the internet each week.
I need a new laundry basket and I love the simplicity of this Nautical Stripe one by the Little Baby Company and it's only £15.95 which isn't bad at all.
Err hello Pineapple night light, I'm not sure if you'd fit anywhere in my home but I do like you rather a lot! Looking at the dimensions it's pretty much the same size as the real life fruit, but at around £60 it's a bit pricey for me to buy on a whim!
If you've been familiar with Hunkydory for a while, you'll know I love a Tunnocks teacake, I love these new storage tins from Gillian Kyle , on this occasion I think the Caramel Wafer tin is my favourite though.
THESE mix and match ceramics from House Of Rym, the Drippity Drop design teacup is my current favourite, but I'd love to have the whole collection to show off in my dresser!
Ahoy there! These paper plates from Magpie are shouting out for a picnic on the beach (matching paper cups available too) - roll on Spring/Summer.
