Week 18: My favourite things May 10, 2016 19:59 1 Comment
I've been rubbish again and realised I haven't shared my favourite things since Valentine's Day, how can time possibly have passed so quickly?
Anyway onwards and upwards, here are some lovely bits and bobs for you.
Isn't this adventure rug fabulous? It's almost too good for the kids to get their sticky fingers on! Perfect for playrooms and nurseries, it's £39.00 from This Modern Life - love it.
This Unicorn Lamp from Joy is super cute and at £12.00 a bargain too. If you don't want to admit still like unicorns when you're in your 30s you could always pretend it's for the kids room (like I always do).
I appear to have a thing for playful stuff this week. These Ice Cream cushions from Tiger really made me smile (another one for the daughter's room!).
Another cool lamp which I'd have nowhere to put, this ceramic Cactus table light looks fabulous both on and off.
I'm a massive fan of Ingela P Arrenhius and am delighted to have discovered this fabulous tin tea set, sadly it's for play use only (please make a grown up version soon for us big kids). Buy it from The Pippa & Ike Show.
Week 17: My favourite Valentines finds February 8, 2016 13:56
For me, I'm happy with flowers every time, but it's tricky to know what to get him... I've been taking a look around the Internet for alternative Valentine's Day presents.
This A3 Me & Your Penguin Selfie print by Heather Alstead is super cute and in a super stylish monochrome colourway, better still it's only £15.00,but they don't need to know that ;-)
I'm liking this bear tankard from Jimbobart , it's both manly and adorable, also available in a gorilla design for even more machismo!
These days we all need to carry shopping bags around with us, this tote is the gift that keeps on giving - lovely to receive and then pass the message on to everyone who sees you!
Aw, serve up this Familjen Side Plate by Isak, it's a lovely keepsake and comes gift boxed.
Tell them how you really feel with this fun 'I Love You More Than Radio 4' mug by Hannah Broadway.
Week 16: My favourite finds January 29, 2016 16:27
I met with a friend today who brought it to my attention that it's been a while since I shared some favourite finds with you, and she's right, so (slap on the wrist) here you go....
Oh Superliving, why do you always tempt me with your gorgeous Scandi ceramics? Look at these luscious new green additions - those vases would look right at home in my home!
Is it acceptable for adults to have a mobile? My dentist has a lovely distracting floaty one above the chair, but I guess he's got a good reason. Perhaps I can convince him to have this fun Charley Harper mobile instead?
Available from Hus and Hem for £19.95
Ok, I know Orla Kiely is absolutely everywhere this days, but that doesn't mean I'm going to get tired of her fabulous designs. Check out this lovely enamelware available from Unique & Utility.
This cute Hedgehog Doormat is coming soon to Magpie, I think it would be a bit of a shame to get it all muddy!
Now this is something I have actually purchased for my home. Having lived with bare plaster in the main bedroom for over 18 months now, I have actually bought this fabulous wallpaper for behind the bed. Now there's just the small issue of getting around to decorating...
Trees Wallpaper from B&Q.
Just like the decorating, I hope to get around to posting my favourite finds again soon!
Week 7: My Favourite Blog & Buy Sale Finds April 23, 2015 13:04
I'm chuffed to have some of my products featured on the Spring Blog & Buy Sale Wishlist and so I thought that this week I'd feature the products from the wish list that I have on mine.
I like everything about this upcycled school chair by Zoo Fest -the style, the colour and the fun illustration. It would fit perfectly in little miss' newly decorated bedroom.
This Father's Day card by Joanne Hawker struck a chord and made me smile (actually thinking about it I could send this to a few people....).
This Happy Apples Tea Towel by Anna Lindsten is screen printed in Sweden, I love the colours and Scandi feel of it.
Hello Ronnie & Frank the brightest, boldest cats in town - featuring here on a tote bag, by Yoke designs.
This set of 4 coasters by Mel Smith Designs feature the London skyline and can be used individually or lined up to create London Southbank.
